I have all the answers.

What’s my style?

Everyone’s wedding day or portrait session is different. My approach is to capture your moment in a way that is refreshing, genuine, and whimsical, all at the same time. I don’t force the moments. The best photos are always the candid ones, and I’m constantly on the move to capture them. (I’m like Jason Bourne, just more attractive.) Looking at your photos will shoot you back into the moment and make you feel the energy and emotions of your day again.

How do I work on your wedding day?

I arrive early so I can capture the chaotic giddiness that happens before the I do’s. This is often my favorite part of the day, full of excitement and drama and laughter.

I’ll arrange to have some time alone with you at some point during the day, whether it’s the first look or after the ceremony, to create some portraits that are different and beautiful - but most of all, unique to you. This is my other favorite time of a wedding day. I’ve been told one of my many, many talents is making couples comfortable in their own skin, usually by making them laugh.

The rest of the day, I’m there observing and capturing all the moments you won’t want to forget.

Do I have an assistant?

Not every event needs two photographers. That being said, I usually recommend it for larger events since it offers more complete coverage. I have a professional photographer who assists me on a regular basis. She’s dependable, does incredible work, and lets me call her “Igor.” Contact me and we’ll discuss the approach that works best for your wedding.

Do you need to make a shot list?

Unless you’re buying me whiskey, no. We’ll chat as we get closer to your wedding to discuss the timeline and logistics. I’ll ask you about any specific shots you absolutely must have. I don’t typically operate from an exhaustive “shot list,” however, as I focus on emotional, real-life moments and not “scoot to the right…no, your right” posed shots that everyone hates taking.

When do you get my photos?

My contract states within 2 months, but that’s only because my lawyer is a weenie. Within a few weeks, you’ll get access to an online gallery of the best edited full-resolution images from your wedding. You can share them with anyone. You’ll also be able to print or post to social media directly from the gallery.

What’s the wedding retainer?

A non-refundable $1000 deposit is due at signing to reserve your date. That covers my personal training expenses so I can fight off all those other couples trying to book your same date.

What are my albums like?

Kind of a mix between classic rock and Top 40 - everyone likes them. I use a really fantastic album company to design and create my wedding albums. Albums are all they do, and they only work with professional photographers.

How do you book me?

Let’s chat first. Once we have agreed on the package that’s right for you, I’ll send over a contract and payment details via a link to my client portal. (Portrait sessions require a deposit, as well.) Then we do a fist bump and count down the days.

I am a little late to the review game here, but it has to be documented that Bob is a wonderful, fun photographer! I probably wasn’t the most organized “encore” bride and he just rolled with it…God love him! :) We were married outside and he captured THE MOST important moments to us at sunset! I could not have been happier with anyone else as my photography professional. My family and friends loved him and have enjoyed reliving the day through his work! He most definitely is the “photo dude” you want for any event!!
